Eiki Nestor was re-elected the President of the Riigikogu by secret ballot. 54 members of the Riigikogu voted in favour of him. 35 members of the Riigikogu voted in favour of Henn Põlluaas.

Martin Helme had nominated Henn Põlluaas on behalf of the Estonian Conservative People’s Party Faction.
In the election of the Vice-Presidents, Chairman of the Estonian Centre Party Faction Kersti Sarapuu nominated Enn Eesmaa as a candidate for a Vice-President. Chairman of the Estonian Reform Party Faction Jürgen Ligi nominated Kalle Laanet as a candidate for a Vice-President of the Riigikogu.
96 members of the Riigikogu took part in the secret ballot of the election of the Vice-Presidents. 56 members of the Riigikogu voted in favour of Enn Eesmaa, and 30 members of the Riigikogu voted in favour of Kalle Laanet. Ten ballot papers were invalid. According to the number of votes received, Enn Eesmaa was elected the First Vice-President of the Riigikogu and Kalle Laanet was elected the Second Vice-President.
