EBS School’s Kuldne Haba Gala Award winner for “Foreign Lecturer of the Year” was presented to Mr. Aavo Reinfeldt on 21-4-2017 at their annual awards gala held at the Raddison Blu hotel in Tallinn, Estonia. Aavo Reinfeldt is also a member of the Estonian American National Council Inc, The Worldwide Estonian.


The EBS Kuldse Haba Gala 2017 winners were announced at the annual Haba Gala awards ceremony, held at the Raddison Blu hotel in Tallinn, on April 21,2017 The “Foreign Lecturer of the year ” award was presented to Aavo Reinfeldt . Aavo was born in the United States in December 1953 to Estonian immigrant parents who arrived in the USA from German DP camps years after fleeing from Saaremaa, Estonia in September 1944. Aavo recently retired as Executive Vice President of PNC after a 35 year career in banking in New Jersey and Chicago, Illinois. He received his BA degree from Lynchburg College and attained banking certifications from The American Institute of Banking.Aavo is currently a member of The Worldwide Estonian Council, The Estonian American National Council, Inc as well as the current Vice President of the Baltic American Freedom League. He has had a lifelong passion for teaching as well as mentoring and public speaking and looks forward to continuing lecturing in Estonia at EBS in the Business and Ecnomics departments. Looking forward to Estonia’s 100th year anniversary in 2018, Aavo is also actively involved with the EV100 initiative, personally coordinating a cemetery rehabilitation initiative on the island of Saaremaa to mark the occasion with his “gift” as well as researching his Estonian ancestry . Aavo is married and has three children. He resides in Laguna Niguel, California . In attendance were many of his fellow lecturers, administrators, students,friends and associates which also included EBS rector, Arno Almann.
