At its today’s sitting, the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Riigikogu (Parliament of Estonia) elected Marko Mihkelson Chairman of the Committee and Keit Pentus-Rosimannus the Deputy Chairman.
Marko Mihkelson and Keit Pentus-Rosimannus were put up as candidates at the election of the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee. Six members of the Committee voted for Mihkelson, and five members for Pentus-Rosimannus. Thus Mihkelson became the new Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, and Pentus-Rosimannus became the Deputy Chairman.
The Foreign Affairs Committee has eleven members. Other members of the Committee are Vladimir Velman, Enn Eesmaa, Marko Shorin, Liisa Oviir, Kalle Muuli, Anne Sulling, Eerik-Niiles Kross, Henn Põlluaas and Andres Herkel.
